Why 97% Of All Dieters Fail
I’ve said this before but need to again:
More and more research continue to come out that supports my theory that you should NEVER diet without strength training, as your metabolism will be severely diminished as a result of the diet. That’s why the vast majority of diets fail.
Plus. More research continues to come out that supports the theory that aerobic exercise provides virtually NO benefit to weight loss. All you end up doing is burning up your time and injuring your joints.
ONLY interval strength training gets the job done with regard to:
Weight loss
Fat loss
Inches lost
And it helps the weight STAY off.
Plus, after 31 minutes of strength training, you get 38 HOURS of after burn, or an accelerated metabolism. That’s HUGE!
Spread the word!

Hi Jim,
I enjoy reading your blog! I have a question. I have osteopenia and have been told by several doctors that strength training will not help my bones because it is not high-impact enough to increase my bone density. They have recommended that I continue walking (in addition to the weight training that I do). What do you think? Thanks!

Without watching you exercise, how can ANY doctor tell you what to do and what not to do.
I know for a fact that the exercises in my books help to build done density. Many of them are done standing up and they all place a great deal of stress on your muscles which also stresses your bones. That’s good. I would consider getting a second opinion as most doctors are so pressed for time these days that they don’t have the time to give to each patient to really hear the whole story. I don’t mean to sound so down on the medical community, but it doesn’t would to me like you are receiving the best advice.
