The Jim Karas “Metabolic Detox” Vs. All Other Cleanse/Detox Programs

Many of you are asking me “What is the difference between your Metabolic Detox and all the other detox/cleanse programs on the market?”

The answer is a LOT:

1. Virtually ALL cleanse products that are some combination of water, lemon, pepper, syrup and juice are TERRIBLY DANGEROUS for your body, your lean muscle tissue and subsequently your metabolism and your immune system, to name a few.

Here is a direct quote from a spokesman for the American Dietetic Association: ““Long-term fasts lead to muscle breakdown and a shortage of many needed nutrients. They can actually weaken the body’s ability to fight infections and inflammation.”

They are to be avoided at ALL costs.

Sure, the scale goes down, a little, before flying back up because all you lost was water and your precious muscle.

The Karas “Metabolic Detox” is not about detoxing your liver or any other false claim. It’s about “detoxing” your unhealthy relationship with when and what you are eating.

You see, most people skip meals. HUGE mistake.

Then they binge. Another HUGE mistake.

And if they do eat, they eat all the WRONG foods.

Our detox is real food, not just juice and water. Our shakes are packed with the right calories and the right combination of protein, carbs, fats, essential oil, fiber, vitamins and nutrients.

Plus, after week 1, we reintroduce you to food, since you have to EAT and learn how to eat the right foods in the correct quantities.
