Swine Flu Protection
I recently did a segment on this.
In my most recent book, “The 7-Day Energy Surge,” I talked all about increasing energy.
All 10 components are EXACTLY what you need to do to increase immunity. If you can believe it, increasing immunity AND energy go hand in hand.
Pick up a copy. You don’t have to buy it. Just flip through it. It really works.

Jim,
Have you read The China Study, written by the well respected nutritional scientist Dr. Colin Campbell? I found the information in his book to be very convincing of having a vegan diet. In this China Study he conducted, he definitively linked animal protein to cancer, heart disease, and diabetes. Any thoughts?

That’s a tough question as it depends WHAT type of animal protein (organic or regular), if the skin is included (which it never should be since it is so toxic), how is it prepared (bbq and fried are not good, poached, grilled, broiled or baked is better, etc.
There are just so many variables to consider.

this may be a little off topic…but in getting my energy going in the am, i have no appetite until about 9 am…after my 6 am workout (mostly weights) and a meeting or two. I’m a 40 year old in shape man. for a quick fix are there any bars that are not loaded with sugar (eg Nutrigrain) that you would recommend. or maybe i just need to keep bananas on hand…

John:
You MUST eat before you workout or you will burn muscle for fuel. You will also have more energy if you eat first. An apple with peanut butter, a yogurt, a bar (I like the ones high in protein) or oatmeal or an egg would be great. Eat half this before you workout and the other half after.
I want protein and carbs to bookend the workouts. So banana and nuts is fine, banana and peanut butter, etc.
Hope this helps.
