Red Grapefruit

One study found that people who ate half a grapefruit with each meal lost 3.6 pounds over 12 weeks. They don’t know why, but I would give it a try AND I would eat an apple before all three meals as that has also been shown to knock off the pounds.

  1. Hi Jim- would be interested in your thoughts on an article in the New York Times today – in the Health section – Tara Pope I think is her name. It states that studies are finding that small changes in ones diet = poor outcomes. I have to read it again myself. Thanks!
