O You In Kansas City
Just packing to go home from Kansas City and the fourth installment of 0-You, which is Oprah University. It was a blast. The women were great.
Next year, over the Mother’s Day weekend, there will be a three-day 10th Anniversary in New York City that should be amazing. I’ll keep you posted.
Jim

I met you at the Kansas City event and you gave me such useful information! I will be calling my doctor tomorrow to discuss my thyroid level. Started reading the 7 Day Energy Surge and it is thought provoking.
Thanks SO much for being so approachable, helpful and genuine in KC. I look forward to feeling better – soon!

Hey Jim,
Just got home from KC and I’m probably a little more amped this year than last year…if that’s possible.
You really inspired me last year in SF at my first O You Conference. I had just spent a week eating and drinking my way through Napa and Sonoma. That trip followed a decade of leaning on an eliptical machine at my gym 6 days a week and wondering why I was getting bigger.
Thank you again for being so real. You signed my book AND let me get my pic made with you… I’m the person who went from a 12 to an 8 this year-just by following what you said in Cardio-Free Diet.
You wouldn’t believe the friends and co-workers who have been astonished by the results. These are the same people who thought I was nuts in the beginning!
Our pic is going on my screensaver for inspiration!!! I look forward to seeing you at the next conference and I promise-I WILL spend this year as well following your advice and continuing to improve myself both inside and out.
Thank you again!

You are a doll. I TOTALLY remember who you are and keep inspiring and let me know how I can help in any way.
See you in NYC in 2010 over the Mother’s Day weekend.

I will admit that I had not heard about you before attending the KC O-You. I found what you had to say very interesting. I was feeling a bit overwhelmed and rather exhausted (and bored) even thinking about hours on a treadmill to lose weight. So much so, I was not even trying. I am now excited to get healthy following your guidelines. THANK YOU! This I can do…

Hi Jim,
I just got back from Kansas City too. Unfortunately, I didn’t attend your session, but I plan to next year. I just watched your video clip from last year’s conference. Had I watched it before I registered, I definitely would have signed up to see you. This was my first O You event and I loved it. I’m planning to go every year.
I did buy your book at the event and I’m looking forward to reading it. I was wondering if you could share more about the 10th anniversary event next year. Is this the O You event in NY or it is a different event? I’d like to block my calendar to attend. =)
Thanks in advance. Can’t wait to start your book!

All that I know about the New York event is that it is over the Mother’s Day weekend and they are planning on making it a three day event.
Should be fun.
Enjoy the book and let me know if you have any questions.

Hi Jim,
I attended your session in KC – it was awesome! It was my absolute favorite one (no disrespect to Suze or Dr. Oz); but your session was about something that I could implement in to my life right now. I bought “The Cardio-Free Diet” and started reading right away. I will have to admit that I read it while walking on my treadmill, but now that I have finished reading I am looking forward to leaving the treadmill off. My husband and I will be starting the cardio-free diet on Wednesday, November 11! I was just wondering…do you have a link on your website where I could print off the grocery lists so we can take to the store and cross off as we purchase? More of a checklist? I have my book, but of course I do not want to write in it! Please let me know. Thanks!!!

I wish we had a link but we don’t.
Other readers have told me that they photocopied the list to take to the store.
Hope that helps and thanks for the praise. It means a lot to me.
