Excuses

I have been on the phone a great deal today with former and current clients.

All I hear are excuses such as,

“It’s summer and we are entertaining a lot”

“We have been traveling”

“My spouse took a gourmet cooking class”

“My kids love ice cream in the summer”

And on and on and on.

You have to decide if you really want to take control of your health and body weight. In this day and age, food is everywhere. You have to decide whether or not you are going to eat it. It’s as simple as that.

  1. Hi Jim,

    Can you tell me how often you think I should weigh myself? I think in the past you said to weigh-in everyday.

    I have been weighing-in everyday because it helps to keep me in-check and on my programme…it seems to be working but i don’t know if its abit obsessive…

  2. No, you are doing exactly what I recommend. All the research points to the fact that daily weigh-ins is the best way to not only lose weight but to keep it off.
