Part of the problem with our society these days is that food is EVERYWHERE. Take the gas station. When I was first driving, you could get a small soda, cigarettes and gum. That was it. Now, it's like managing a whole store filled with junk food just to pay for your gas. That is why I try to always do it outside at the pump. I’ve never heard that concept before but it makes sense.

The point being that it's quite messy, inconvenient, time consuming and even a little dangerous to make them yourself, so the process itself would (hopefully) keep you from eating them too often.
