This is a weight loss book specifically for women 5′4″ and under.
I am on final edits, and this one bit of research just keeps popping out at me:
We literally control our weight SO much by who we hang out with. It’s as critical to your success as your actual plan.
Take Oprah and Gayle as a perfect example. I don’t know Oprah, but have known Gayle for many years since we did a project together for “0″ magazine.
Right now, they both look high in weight, which makes sense given that they are best friends.
Now, if you look back at the time when Oprah was thinner, you will also see that Gayle was thinner.
I see it all the time in groups of people. Generally, many of your friends may be a weight and fitness level close to yours.
If your friends are in good shape, that’s great. If they are not in that good of shape, well, not so good.
I remember having a talk with a group of people that went to the best restaurants together once a month. It was a club. They loved to eat and you could tell the moment you laid eyes on them.
Other people joined the group, who were smaller, and said they had to bow out as they just could not STOMACH the amount of food that was brought to the table at these dinners.
