Calorie Cutting Linked to Longevity

A study reported in “Science” showed that those who consume less calories live longer, as in 37% of the control group died vs. only 17% of the calorie restricted group.

Those restricting were also less prone to diabetes, precancerous growths, cardiovascular disease and age-associated brain atrophy.

Sounds like a reason to cut calories to me.

Most people would need to cut their caloric intake between 10-25% (depending on their present body weight) to achieve the benefits.
